Thrive Academy, Inc., 501 (c)3 is an accredited, year-round private, 100% Self-Paced school designed to meet the behavioral, educational, and mental health needs of K-12 students that may not be adequately addressed in traditional public school settings. We provide temporary and fixed-placement educational options in partnership with our Thrive Day Treatment Program, where children receive daily mental health services tailored to their needs. We provide this service to our students at little to no cost, based on their financial needs. 

We will also expand resources and educational tutoring for children in our school and program to provide an even more personalized approach to helping them achieve successful educational outcomes outside our regular operational hours, including weekends. That is how much we are invested in our children, and we need everyone's support!

While we are committed to providing educational support for each child, we also believe in the importance of their continued enrollment in the public school system if/whenever possible. We actively encourage families to keep children registered there and work closely with schools to facilitate smooth transitions, ensuring educational consistency and progress. Many school districts offer virtual programming, homebound instruction, and other alternative methods, and we partner with these options to strengthen the support system. Our goal is to collaborate with families, schools, and districts to create a personalized educational plan that promotes the child's success during their therapeutic care journey. 

1. An underachiever or failing student who requires more individualized attention or a flexible schedule in a smaller school setting.
2. Be exhibiting behaviors such as acting out, oppositional defiance, and/or substance abuse, etc.
3. Have been diagnosed with emotional and/or psychological problems that require a more structured therapeutic environment
4. Have engaged in petty criminal behaviors or court-adjudicated youth
5. Have special needs due to a learning disability, IEP, and/or ADHD
6. Re-engagement for at-risk students
7. Transitional students exiting various programs, such as inpatient hospitalization or juvenile justice centers, require support before reintegrating into traditional schools.
8. Must be an approved client of Thrive Day Treatment Program

We believe in offering and sponsoring all private educational services at no cost to those children and families who qualify for Medicaid services under our Thrive Day Treatment program. We offer a self-paced option with a personalized learning experience to ensure every student can excel and learn in a manner best suited to them!

1. We employ certified teachers, paraeducators, and support staff trained to facilitate instruction and learning for all types of students.
2. We provide each child with a secure laptop and a warm environment to grow and learn.
3. We strive to work with your home school of record and establish a relationship with each counselor, registrar, or school administrator to collectively determine what educational attainment and/or success measures look like for each student in our program, pre-admission and exit.
4. We offer Individual Educational Plan (IEP) review and structure curriculum for those who qualify
5. We offer a U.S.-Accredited Educational solution within the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. With the ability for students to attain a US-accredited diploma*
